Ive been lurking and learning for a few months here now.
I thought I settled on a 18.5, then thought I might need a 22.5 and blah blah blah.

Amazon price watching has become a hobby of mine on the WSM. Lately I've been building a new deck at my parents house so they can have some nice space to sit outside.

They just called and are on their way back from Green Bay and they mentioned they got a gift for me. a 18.5 WSM.

I couldn't be more pumped.

Congratulations. Getting it as a gift beats getting it for a good price on Amazon. I've been watching Amazon prices for years and I've never seen free :D
 
I can't wait to try it out.... I'm going to load up on some kbb and then off to the races....I've always used charcoal from grilling but this is a new adventure.

my pops said the only thing I have to do is make them dinner................

I have an 18.5"wsm, and a 22.5"wsm. I use the 18.5"wsm most of the time, and only the 22.5"wsm for big cooks. If I could only keep one of them I'd chose the 18.5"wsm. Your going to love it!
 
I'm trying to figure out how to get pics on the forum from my darn iphone. I don't have email on my laptop and I take the pics with my iphone so I have to figure how to get some posted.

It is begging me to cook in it.....I hear is whispering that...............out in the garage......

I use photobucket and I think they have an iphone app that you can directly load your photos into it.

Or just go to photobucket.com on your laptop, set up an account (easy and free), upload your pictures. When you pull up each picture you will see 4 links on the right hand side. Click the last one, the "image" link and it will say copied. Then just paste it in your post and they will come right up on the post after you hit submit


Oh and that whispering, it just keeps getting louder and louder and louder.....
