Hello everyone, I wanted something other than beef or pork for dinner today, so got out the Turkey breast half I found in the freezer when I defrosted the other day, lol. Picked up a 2nd half from the store this morning to make sure I had enough leftover for sandwiches. I kept it simple and just brushed them with some olive oil, then put on seasoned salt, coarse garlic powder, and fresh ground lemon pepper and let sit in the fridge for 2 hrs. Fired up the Mini with about 25 Kingsford comp briquettes and four small/medium chunks of cherry wood.
The Mini ran 250-275 and I pulled them off 2hrs later at 160*
Rested about 20 mins. and then pulled from bone and sliced.
Plated with long grain and wild rice, green salad, and cheese biscuits
The Turkey came nice and moist and tender!
Thanks for takin a look
