Sunday Night Steaks

Does anyone ever buy the petite sirloin steaks that they have at Albertsons? We love them because they are usually inexpensive and are smaller and seem to be just perfect for a dinner. Here is our steak cook tonight.

Marinated the steaks in McCormick Meat Marinade. I have said this before but if you haven't tried it give it a shot. Kind of anti gourmet but the marinade is really good.

Started potatoes on the grill and mushrooms inside.

Laid down a foundation of lump charcoal for a hot steak cook.

Grilled the steaks, heated the bread and pulled everything together for a plate of good food!

Pretty blurry pictures I know. And I'm sorry about that. I am trying to step up my photography. Kind of tough sometimes with an iPad camera!

The dinner was outstanding! Thanks for looking and I hope everyone has a great week next week. Heat moving in around here. Not fond of it but better than the ice and snow!
 
Good looking meal. Haven't done 'shrooms with my steak in a while. Your pics are making me want to change that.
 
Outstanding steaks and sides. One thing you forgot the onions with the mushrooms!!!;) Got to have onions.
 
We like sirloin or the petite, they're a tasty lean piece of meat as long as there not over cooked. Like the 'rooms and the tater side, very nicely done. Have to look into that marinade too.
I swear Barb would put onions on a peanut butter sandwich.:rolleyes:
 
Gorgeous looking steaks Robert. Really like those mushrooms too. I've been struggling with photography too. I've been trying to wean myself off brainless mode with my Nikon and it's pretty discouraging. Your photos look fine to me. Nice cook!
 
Those steaks / dinner plate looks fantastic Robert. You don't do too many lump cooks? I kinda gave up on Lump, really hard to dial is (for me) The Shock Top is pretty good for wheat beer, huh? Good on a hot day
