This was Weber's Recipe of the Week a while back. Decided to give it a try on Grill Fest 2 Day.
Used our food processor to make the dough.

Rolled dough in plastic wrap and put in fridge for two hours.

Mixed strawberries with some sugar, cornstarch, vanilla and some lemon juice.

After two hours, rolled the dough flat, approximately 12" crust.

Poured the strawberry mixture onto the dough, leaving 2 inches clear all around.

Wrapped up side edge all around and crimped in place. Heated some strawberry preserves and spread over berries. Topped with slivered almonds. Brushed crust with half & half.

On grill for approximately 1 hour.

All done and cooling.

My slice.

This was a fun little cook. It was very good. Probably not as good as a full strawberry pie, but good. Light and sweet.
Thanks for looking.
