Spinning a Yard Bird on the E320 and some Canadian Bacon.

I’ve been wanting to get a rotisserie for the E320 even though I have a roti for my Gen 2000. The E320 is NG so no worries about the bottle running out.
In my quest to get one was getting harder than I thought. The grill is a 2007 sidewinder and the chances of finding a new one were pretty slim. So I posted my dilemma in the gas grill forum and our leader Chris notified me he had a new one he would let me have for a very fair price. So Saturday we gave a yard bird a few spins. It’s been at least 10-12 years since I did a chicken on a roti.
Just a lite coating of SPOG. Front burner only ran at about 350-375 hood temp.
I forgot how good roti chicken is, will be doing this many more times. Barb grilled up some corn on the gen 2000 and some mashed potatoes and gravy for the sides.

So today the winds are blowing like crazy again and have a Canadian bacon that needs to be smoked. No way am I going to try the mini in this wind I’d be chasing temps the whole cook. So for the third time in three days the E320 comes to the rescue put some cherry and apple chunks on the front FBs dialed it up to 240 and it stayed right there for the whole cook.

Looks great, Rich! Roti chicken with gravy, mashed potatoes, and corn on the cob, too. I might need to bust out the rotisserie soon...very soon. :D

I had the roti sitting in my office for a long time...I had my doubts I'd ever find a good home for it...so glad I was able to place it with you, Rich. It was meant to be! Great looking chicken! :D
