Some Seafood........

DaleW was kind enough to post his “Quick Shrimp Grill” yesterday and even shared the marinade. It looked so good I had to try it. Dale if you’re looking, thanks and I hope I did it justice. Basically this is a chile sauce with butter and some spices. The only thing I did different was add some minced garlic and garlic salt. Since there was butter, once it reached room temps, it solidified. I ended up placing the bag I was marinating containing the shrimp and marinade into some warm water to help the marinade let go of the shrimp. I also decided to try a new recipe for the salmon. This is an orange/balsamic marinade, heavy on the rosemary and garlic. Sorry for the photos but it gets dark pretty early here so everything is flash.

Shrimp in a basket helped along with DaleW’s great marinade.

Coho Salmon and Tilapia, (For Nancy), after the marinade. The salmon started out a beautiful red but the balsamic toned it down some.

Ready to plate. Tilapia is on the right.

Plated with Nancy’s wonderful rice and some fresh garlic bread.

This was pretty easy, (all my stuff is), and everyone liked it a LOT.  Thanks.

Very nice Rolf! I'm glad you enjoyed it and your improvement sounds great! Yup the butter solidifies but I find when I throw it on the grill, it melts fast! :)

Great looking seafood Rolf! I am amazed you get coho back that way! Coho really doesn't get a traditional "red" salmon color! Most really red salmon is sockeye...might need to try that shrimp pretty quick!

Great looking meal Rolf. I haven't tried seafood on the grill yet, it's on my to do list. Is this the balsamic done on the Coleman gasser?
