Smash Burgers

I made burgers on the flat top last night, my first time for smash burgers. Caramelized some onions and added bacon and fried eggs.
These were huge - I guess I need to work on my smashing skills.
But they were delicious!

LOL egg shapers works for me! Yesterday I realized I can't remember what you call a burger with egg on it. So I searched and apparently it doesn't have a name. (I guess Red Robin calls theirs the Royal but I thought there was a generic name.)

We've got a local dive bar that makes a similar burger with eggs and bacon. They call it the Hangover!
