Danny, it really looks fantastic. Great job! The only thing missing are new decals and you can get those from Jon Tofte.
You're very welcome. I'm glad they could go to good use. They look excellent on there! Thanks to Josh for the black handles and starter button, Jon for the Skyline basket (and decals) and Larry for the grates
That is OUTSTANDING. Did you dye the knobs and the Durawood?
Absolutely stunning! My not so secret blackout is only partially done unassemblrx pieces. Racing against the onset of cold weather with another project in front. Regardless, I don’t think mine will look that striking.
What was your final treatment on the black durawood? Did you do more than the black trim restorer I believe you mentioned? It looks perfect.
This for sure makes you a flagship member of the Skyline Club!
How'd it turn black?Nope the durawood was from that grey grill i picked up in Rockford and the knobs Josh sent to me from a different model
How'd it turn black?
Oh, interestingIt was always black, I guess its kinda rare.
The handle I pained with black auto trim paint tho
Probably the best looking version of the Silver B in my opinion. The black knobs at igniter switch came off of this Silver I still have kickin around. It's getting pretty naked though. The cabinet doors have been given away and the table. The lid is kind of cool I think with the pinstripe and black handle but probably pretty common.
