Sardines Fried and Squid in Spicy Italian Tomato Sauce. Love this stuff and this is how I did it tonight
Picked up just came in Sardines from my Monger and some fresh Squid, Italian Parsley and Basil from my garden, six cloves of garlic diced up and one large Shallot diced up. Lots of good Italian EVOO and one small jar of imported Arribiatta Sauce. It is made with hot Italian Peppers.
Some nice Pasta about done on the stove, EVOO Shallot and Garlic in the pan first on the Genny, butterflied Sardines on next, then a few Tbsp of the Arribiatta. Then the Parsley and Basil last, stirred together to simmer for a minute or two
Calamaro in on top of EVOO Garlic and Shallot after they become translucent, Fresh Ground in then the Arribiatta and Parsley and Basil. Pasta in last to mix and meld
The table tonight with a good Verona Soave
The plate with some good crusty bread and Parmigiano fresh grated on top
