Maybe this guy is old news to some, but new to me. He's so over the top I couldn't stop watching.

From Wiki:
"Nusret Gökçe, nicknamed Salt Bae, is a Turkish butcher, chef, and restaurateur, who owns Nusr-Et, a chain of steak houses. His technique for preparing and seasoning meat became an Internet sensation."

That was fun, Bob, thanks! That guy is a bit nutty, but does look like he knows what he's doing.....couldn't decide which preparation was my favorite. I think I'll go with the salt crusted one toward the end.

I’m gonna start using his salting technique at home! I’m sure the Mrs. will love it...

Actually, there really is good sound physics behind his flair of salting food, specifically from a height. You get a more even distribution of salt grains across your food. Science..... it works.

The guy certainly knows a sharp knife is your friend! As far as salting technique? It’s cold in Michigan and I’d end up with seriously weird sleeves!
