Hi, everyone!
I wanted to share a cook from this afternoon that turned out really well for me, and allowed me to use up some things from the cabinets that I'd accumulated over time. This is based off a recipe I found online: http://www.deepsouthdish.com/2013/04/sweet-and-tangy-russian-chicken-my-way.html?m=1
I used Wings because I had some. I threw a bottle of Catalina dressing, 1 packet of onion soup mix, and a jar of peaches in light syrup into a blender and blended until smooth. I poured this mixture over a pack of chicken wings with Cajun seasoning and seasoned pepper on them already, and let it marinate for 2 hours.
They were sweet, tangy, and fun to make. I used a little bit of wood chips (apple) in a foil packet. The grill (Performer) ran pretty low, 212-250 or so. I seared them at the end. Awesome. Thanks for looking!
