Ribs and wings for the hawks game (fail)

Evening folks...haven't posted much lately due to photo bucket issues but I seemed to be able to get a few pics together tonight...
Decided to do wings and baby backs for our Sunday football gathering!! Started with three racks of BB...simple rub of paprika, brown sugar, salt and pepper...few other goodies..rubbed and wrapped overnite in the fridge. Brought them out this morning and fired up the WSM (this was to be my first cook on my new rehab red but the parts I ordered from weber were not complete so maybe another time)...anyway defrosted the WSM and tossed the ribs on at about 250...little hickory smoke!

Here they are at the 2 hour mark!

At this point they were foiled ( my last set of ribs were a bit dry) added some apple juice and Jameson whiskey to the mix!

Started some wings up on the performer ...soaked in EVOO and webers kicken chicken all nite! Indirect with a bit of apple smoke!

Bb unfoiled for the last hour or so!

After about 45 minutes at 300 I tossed the wings in a mixture of franks, butter and honey!

And my plate with some black bean soup!! Oh and my Seahawks drink of choice!!

Best ribs I've had in a long long while, wings were perfect...all was super except that game...very disappointed ..oh well..kicked the crowd out and my lovely wife and I made some apple pie!!

Good stuff...I got the recipe from this site...dangerous but very very tasty...got another batch cooking now!!
Thanks for looking folks...hope all your teams won...(Jim I was told that PBR was the beer too drink when the pack plays ..you can thank me later!)

Everything look's great Morgan snacks-o-plenty... I really need to make some apple pie myself to sip on while fishing.

Nice cooks Morgan! Save some of that moonshine for the playoffs. I think the next game is going to be different.

You are living right, Morgan! Excellent cook & LOVE the Apple Pie touch on the side. I plan on making a batching the next two weeks to share with family & friends over the holidays ... :cool:
 
Dear Morgan,

That's a good looking spread you put out. When the food is that good it's easy to forget the score. I can even forget who played if the food is good enough and yours definitely looks good enough.

Thumbs up Morgan, I was wondering why I have not seen you lately. (I always look forward to your cooks) Anyhow love the ribs and the Apple Pie... Wife and I are going to make a batch next week for Christmas presents. Take care.
