Rib eye roast.... My first time

Monday night eats was fun. For the first time I did a roast. Decided to use the weber rotisserie.

Seasoned and ready to go



Set up the weber with some cherry wood. It's all I had





Half way thru the cook I decided to put the coals underneath the roast





I accidentally over cooked to a medium. Was shooting for a medium rare.



CI skillet ready with some bacon grease

Nicely done Tony, you hit a homer on the first pitch! I like my Gus fried in bacon grease too :)
 
Great looking roast Tony, you nailed it! Just picked up two on sale and got them in the freezer until after T-Day. Going to give one a spin and see how it goes.
Have you tried the Woodshed in Orange it's off the 55 near Katella and on Batavia. They have all kinds of wood for smoking in all kinds of sizes. Barb and I are going to be coming in to OC to see the kids in a week or so and will stop on the way in and restock our smoking woods, great place.

I haven't been there but heard its a good spot to get wood for smoking
