Haven't posted in awhile, but I've been following everyone's cooks on my iphone, and doing some cooking of my own. My wife and I took a 3 year old and 18 month old from Maryland to Arizona for 12 days. We went for her bestfriend's wedding. As you can imagine, my hands were full! I got to grill a good bit, so I'll share now that we're home and back to normal life.
Stayed with my wife's "2nd Family" who have known her since she was 5. This is what I saw when we went into the backyard, and I lit up. A2002-2003 Genesis, with direct line to house's propane!
As a thankyou for putting us up, and feeding us for almost a week, I offered to get dinner and take care of everything. Found Tri-tip strips and chicken breasts from costco. Grabbed some veggies from trader Joes. Everyone was totally blown away by things I've learned on here! Thank you!
Fed about 20 people. Kids/adults, and was a fun challenge for timing to keep that much food hot/warm until serving.
The view from the grill!
I'll post more pics on this thread soon. Computer is being wonky.
