Sunset is coming way too early now-a-days.

And the evenings are too cool. I think it was down to 59 degrees F. Patio heater on!

Lauren prepared a butter-sriracha-garlic herb marinade that the shrimp sat in for an hour or so. Now on a hot grill, direct.

Five minutes later or so, almost done.

Table is set with steamed rice with peas and toasted almonds, salad and the grilled shrimp.

Very simple shrimp grill, but it is really tasty! Taught to us by our friend and neighbor, Frank Aguirre.

I agree with Jim, that is PERFECT!

I just wish it was only getting cool here lol...snow is on the way!

Great looking meal... We need details on the marinade.. Mr. Aguirre won't mind

Here's what Lauren says:
6 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 to 1/3 cup sriracha
About 2 to 3 teaspoons of garlic herb seasoning

This was for 2 pounds of shrimp. Hope it tastes good for you too!

Fantastic looking meal!!! Any leftovers, I'll be right over as soon as I get off from work!!! I hate this getting dark at 5:00 too. Arizona has the right idea and stays on DST all of the time.

Sorry John. That was yesterday, and no leftovers. Right now some spatchcock chicken is grilling, and I know that's one of your favorites! Photos to come later ....
