Pizza For Dinner

Decided to have pizza for dinner last night. Relatively cool evening for us this time of year so that sealed the deal. Here's a few pic's.

Enrico always mentions that when it comes to toppings, less is best. Made this one for you Enrico. Straight Salami.



This was my concoction. Mushroom, sausage (my homemade Andouillee Sausage) and olives. Oh yeah, anchovies too.



I have two peels so I got those two built and got the fire nice and hot. Splits of oak for a boost.



First one in the KP.



Pulled the first one, Enrico's.



With the peel free again I built my wife's. This is her absolute favorite. Onion, Artichoke Hearts, Red Bell Pepper, olives and mushrooms.



Wife's done. I top it with goat cheese after cooking.









Wow, this was delicious. Might do four next time. Love the leftovers when it's cold. Used Trader Joe's Pizza dough and topped each with Red Pepper flakes. Thanks for looking everyone.
 
Cliff those pies look so awesome! Artichoke hearts are one of our favorites but we have never tried them on pizza. You are an outstanding chef! You really can pull off anything you try! Great looking cook!
 
Those look great Cliff. Barb and I are doing pizza tonight. Hope it comes out better then the last time when the crust was as black as a Goodyear tire and the cheese was on fire in less than two minuets.
Just a tad too hot:p
