Pikes Peak Roast = Pulled Italian Beef.

Pikes peak roast is the same as a heel of round roast, taken from close to the bottom of the round.
Good candidate more a braise.

Every time I see you make this I think I got to get on it! I think that is the best looking version I have seen you make. That looks so freaken good!!!!
 
nice. we do Italian beef similar to how you did it and use the same brand seasoning packet.
It's good right?
I used to concoct my own version of Jus but this makes it easy.
Jewel ( Albertson's ) has them two for 3 bucks on sale now.
 
Born on the side south side, many moons ago close to Cicero & Archer (Midway Airport area), sweet memories of the the little hole-in-the wall places! Now when I visit I'm in the burbs so I have to settle for the more commercial type, i.e. Portillo's!
