Pepper Stout Beef Question

Looks like I'm going to be giving pepper stout beef a try on Sunday. Can you finish this in the crock pot as opposed to the oven or does it need to be in the oven? It's going to be 90+* on Sunday and wanted to avoid having the oven going for 3ish hours if possible. Just let me know what you think. Thanks!

I have done it on a kettle and my WSM (just crank open the vents after foiling and let it go at 350 degrees (grate temperature). I have also finished in the oven when necessary (need the grill or smoker for another cook, etc.).

If you can get the crock pot up to temperature, I see absolutely no reason that it would be a problem (I have no experience with crock pots).
