Hmmm, still nothing for me, must be on my end. There's a video there now, Rich......
Whatever they're hauling, it's gonna be awfully heavy based on the number of tires on the ground. Those steerable axle systems are pretty neat. The 5th wheel arrangements under that cribbing for the center span look sketchy to me, obviously I don't know what I'm talking about there.
No, the lowboy was just to practice the Goldhofer & Dolly. We just finished putting them together over the weekend and this was a trial run. Next month we haul 750K to 1M LBS Girders. Those million pounder are too heavy to haul on one of the road, so we'll have to haul on both sides of the road; main trailer on one side, the dolly on the otherI take it the new trailer is that red lowboy?
How far did you have to truck it?
That would be very sketchy. That's just an old lowboy we used to practice with. We'll be hauling massive girders next monthThere's a video there now, Rich......

It's a beast, LOLI had to right-click and open in a new tab, but I see it now. Where in the heck will you find a campsite where you can park that thing, Chuck?!?!!
I don't have facebook, but keep an eye out on Lori Reeve's facebook page starting right after the first of the yearChuck, if it's allowable, I'd love to see pics (or better yet, video) of the full load.
It gets CHP escort even when empty and there will be some times when we close the entire freeway (when the million LBS girders go)Damn Chuck, can that even be towed in California? Good video, pretty amazing.
Dang, that's some serious weight. You deliver to bridge jobs?
Mile long bridge has some very long beams but they only weigh about 275K.
Yes SireeBrewery's are a favorite
