OTG Meatloaf

Half beef, half Italian... diced onion, eggs and crackers all molded into this.

On the large Weber OTG with plenty of Kingsford and hickory wood for smoke, cookin' indirect.
After 45 minutes, i placed bacon strips atop the beast.

After almost 2 hours, an internal temp read 170ºF, so i removed it from the grill.

Rested about 15 minutes before cuttin'er up.
And when i did, all the crisp bacon fell off:rolleyes:

S'ok, we still ate it ;p Served on ciabatta rolls with oven roasted Brussel sprouts and a dinky Yukon.

This was soooo good, I'll have more after bowling tonight!

Jim, I love meatloaf done on the grill or the WSM. Yours looks fantastic!

It's beautiful. I have never had meatloaf in my life. I think your recipe is something I have to try.
 
Just how many pounds was that puppy?

It was simply gorgeous Jim, even striped of its bacon!
Wish I could have gorged on some too!
