One more cook! Pork Chop, quick and easy!

Well, today is go home day. I've packed up my JJ and Smokey and am heading back to the heat. Not used to this coastal climate. I stopped at the butcher shop yesterday and picked up a nice bone in, pork loin chop, about 3/4 inch thick. Did a baked potato to go along with it and some grilled yellow corn. Saw this grilled orange slices recipe and gave that a try too.

Just used Grill Mates Barbeque Rub on the chop. Well, a touch of salt and pepper too. Got the chop on the grill.

Chop getting there nicely.

The neighbors cat comes over and visits me when I come down. She loves to watch me barbeque. That is a nasty old rust stain on the concrete by the cat. Really nice, Cliff. Composition 101 at it's finest. She really didn't heave as a result of my cooking.

Got my baker going. A little butter rubbed on the skin with K Salt, Pepper and Mrs. Dash, Garlic and Herb. I usually eat my skins and the Mrs. Dash has a great taste. If you don't eat the skins, it still makes the potato smell great while cooking!

Potato and corn is just about done.

Now for the grilled orange.

Orange all done. About 2 minutes, flipping once.

Plated and ready to eat!

Dessert. The grilled orange topped off with a little chocolate syrup and whipped cream!

I was stuffed after polishing this off. Fun bbq, but I'm ready to go home. Thanks for looking.

Hey Cliff that is a great looking chop and sides! With that orange slice creation which is just over the top I'd be stuffed too!
See you made the connection between Barb and me on the intro posts.:)

That is a tremendous meal. Bravo! The skin is the best part of the tater , esp. When it's nice and crispy from the grill. Nice work.
