Back around the first of the year, several of us posted our "cooking resolutions". Chris A was to do some monster short ribs (and he did), I said I'd finally do some Cornell chicken. Six months later, I finally got around to it. Last night, I watched a recorded episode of Bobby Flay's 'Barbecue Addiction', in which he did Cornell chicken, among other things. Tonight, I cooked that chicken, and the steak fries he cooked along with it. For those who are interested, here's the recipe(s). The Cornell might not be authentic, but it is savory and flavorful.

So, here we go:
Chicken out of the brine and seasoned, waiting for the grill:
About done. Maybe a tad past done. But the brine helps.
Taters 'bout done:
'Gus done. And next pic is a "victim" of poor grillmanship:
Taters tossed with EVOO and chives:
All of it plated:
Thanks for looking.
