My Wife did the Buffet... I contributed some Goodies

Our tradition is to wind down on Christmas Eve and do a family buffet. My wife takes care of that, but I help each year and this year I did a loaf of sourdough bread for her crab fondue and a pumpkin pie and also a rum cake. Over the past couple of years I've done detailed posts on the pie and cake so I'll just include a couple of pics of each. For Christmas dinner we went to my Son's house and he cooked a great dinner for us. Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas. Enjoyed looking at all the delicious posts the past few days.

Sourdough is rising overnight.

Ready to be cubed.

Pumpkin Pie on the WSM. Those are my outdoor Christmas lights reflecting on the pie.

Rum Cake on the WSM. Made with one cup Bacardi Oakheart Spiced Rum, half used in the batter and the other half used straight added to the glaze at the last minute.

Cooled and glazed. Topped with chopped pecans.

The sourdough was tremendous. Everyone loved it. Thank you all for looking.

Very, very nice Russ. We need to try some sourdough again here, it's been years. The rum cake looks great.
