Evening folks...hope everyone had a great holiday...filled with good food and family!! Mine started a bit rough...today was the first day in the past 4 that wasn't a steady downpour...decided the boy and I should get some fish...loaded up the boat..got bait an beer..then when I got the truck backed up to the trailer and realized I was missing something...

Crap someone made off with my ball hitch...geez, talk about one ****ed off hombre!!ok well spent what seemed hours looking for my spare, found it but no pin..well after thinking about "make dues" I decided that maybe I just was not suppose to go!! So yard work..little football in the yard with my boy..had some taco's planned but my wife is still not feeling too good...she wanted soup so I whipped her up some soup and decided that we would keep it simple...my boy loves casadillas...ok..
Started some chorizo in a pan..

Thank you Tony for the bushes pinto bean suggestion..I almost made your tuna tostada's tonight but decided that it would have been too much to post 2 in one day!!

Again hope folks had a wonderful holiday...we made the best out of ours...actually pretty nice to chill at home!!

I'm glad you like the beans. My mother wouldn't if recommended them if they weren't good. :D
The plated pic looks absolutely Delicious something my mom would make for me and brothers and sisters.
 
Great looking plate Morgan!!! I had my hitch stolen too so I bought one of those locking pin. Sometimes stuff from the road gets in the working part of those and they can be a PITA to unlock. I suggest you just remove the hitch after you use it.

Thanks John...I was thinking the same except I'd lock it and just leave it on...thanks for the idea!
 
Nice recovery Morgan! Yep, locking pin, so the dirtbags don't steal it! The pin I have has a weather resistant cover over the keyhole so it stays free.
 
Stinks about you ball hitch. But nothing stinky about those quesadillas Morgan! Well, depending on the bean factor :) Great looking post!
