That would make sense because a lot of times I see the lid colored overspray on the black through the hole where the thermometer is at.

It’s funny because I’ve seen a few redheads that if you look closely it looks like there are tiny black dots on the red. One I have it is really noticeable.

That is weird. On some black lids you can see tiny white dots all over them. I wonder if that's the red lid version of Weber fade?

It's very subtle like the metallic and a paint job. I should see if I can capture it on photo

My S330 lid has the same little white dots. Here’s a pic I took of my work redhead. Can’t tell if it’ll show up on here or not.

I haven't seen that much black dots before. I don't have enough on any of mine to show up on camera. That looks like overspray on the side by the end cap?


I can see tiny tiny black specks if I put my face really close. Kind of like the metallic and a paint job but a spread Way thinner.

Yeah, you had to stick your face right into the lid to see them so it wasn't that big of a deal. It just gets worse though until it looks like your grill has the measles. It's the same with the control panels.

I've had good luck with control panels. Actually I think I've had pretty good luck period
