More Thai Jerky

Can't keep it in the house. Took a couple London broils and sliced up for jerky. Marinated in my Thai Jerky recipe. Started with 6 pounds ended up with 2.5 pounds of finished product.

Here's the recipe for 1 pound I just multiplied by 6.

1 lb top round steak, cut into strips
2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 tablespoon dark or light soy sauce
2 teaspoons sugar
½ teaspoon ground white (or black) pepper

I added cure. Typically this wouldn't have cure and the meat would be dried in the sun.

You had better keep that out of sight :)

I don't know much about fish sauce......trying to imagine with oyster sauce..

I'll give you my address Case, I need a fix

That wouldn't last very long in my house either. Looks great.

Will try that on my next jerky cook. Looks delicious Case.

Super looking jerky. Wouldn't last long around here, either.

That looks positively scrumptious!

Thanks all!

I've had, made, been given a bunch of jerky
I'm my short life. All good. But this simple recipe takes the cake. Sure you can add to it. Chili pepper flakes, black pepper, ginger, lemongrass, whatever you feel like adding, but it's really good just as is.

Give it a try. Then if you want to add do that.

Not sure if this batch will make it to the vac packer and freezer. Okay that's a lie. It's not going to make it!
