a full meaty rack of MooMooRibs simply salt and peppered.

tossed on the large 26" One Touch Gold Weber Kettlewith a head of Red Cabbage.
Hickory wood was employed for smoky flavours.

while it cooks away, the winter sun is hanging around....

I envy you, being able to do a weekday smoke in daylight. At this time of he year, the sun goes down between 3 and 4 PM. Today, at 3.22 PM, to be precise. I finish work at 4 PM.
What a bummer. I'm glad I can look at your fantastic pics and cooks, to remind me of days to come, when the sun just dips behind the horizon for an hour or two. :)

Sir Geir... sorry to disappoint you man, but this was done Yesterday while i was home. The ribs went on about 1230pm and the cabbage only minutes later.
everything came off AFTER the sun set.

the swell thing: Days ARE getting L O N G E R ! !
 
That all looks great, Jim. Did you season the cabbage with anything, or is it just seasoned with smoke?
 
nice looking cow ribs, the pic of the sun setting over the grill is pure art! Up here we are also glad to see the days getting longer.
 
Jim nice moo ribs ...I can't even remember the last time I had cow ribs...in fact, I don't think I ever made them.. New item on my to do list!

Sean, the cabbage had a 2 inch bored hole in the middle and that was stuffed with seasoned butter (gaaaaaalic powder and onion powder then smoked with the hickory
