Local sausage

Brandon Meats is a popular butcher shop in the small Wisconsin town of Brandon, and awhile back I stopped in and picked up some Italian sausage and kielbasa. Two good reasons there's no need for me to think about making my own.;)

The Italians had a nice fennel flavor.

And the kielbasa was just a tad on the spicy side - just right!

When it comes to sausages, hot dogs, burgers etc., pasta salad is a popular side dish in my house.;)

I don’t like looking at good food right after having a salad for dinner!!
There is a local sausage guy here, really delicious stuff! I might see if he’s open Friday morning, he’s been selling out pretty fast!

Brad, you cook those on the stovetop....

...microwave....

...or the sizzler?

...cuz there's no WEBER in sight.
Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it isn't there.;)

Both cooks were done on the battered, scuffed, worn 18" Bar-B-Kettle that I bought for $5 in Oshkosh around 15 or so years ago. The leg pockets have already been welded once and the bowl has a couple of new pinholes that need attention, but it just keeps on chooglin'...
