Last Weekends Hot Wings

Seasoned half the chicken wings with Buffalo Wing Brat seasoning, and spritzed with 50/50 mix of water and apple cider vinegar a few times throughout the cook. The other half of chicken wings were seasoned with Sweet & Smoky rub basted with Raspberry Chipotle sauce towards the end of the cook. Both flavors were excellent; quite a bit of flavorful heat with the Buffalo Wing Brat seasoning and just a good please all taste with the Sweet & Smokey rub/Raspberry Chipotle sauced wings!

Cooking hot wings indirect with the Vortex with a chunk of hickory smoking away.

Having a cold one and some hot wings served with blue cheese dressing dipping sauce.

Thanks for looking!

Wings may be my favorite summer evening cook. I like them cooked indirect with a chunk of cherry, and served with a sriracha/lime/cilantro/butter dipping sauce.

That results pic may drive me to cook some tonight.

Great cook! I wish I could cook wings, I've failed miserably 3 for 3

They're easy Chuck, the easiest way is to cook for ~45 minutes at around 400-425F in the oven (I set them on the top rack with a drip pan below), I take the wings to 185-195F, you can then do them indirect on the grill just the same to add the smokey flavor & not heat up (& smoke out) the house.

Marty's sauce sounds interesting (& pics look great!), and Chris's sauce sounds good too. I normally don't even season the wings before cooking, sometimes I'll marinate them in terriyaki sauce, but normally just toss them in some spiced up franks or terriyaki. I'll thicken the sauces with cornstarch or xanthan gum, whipped in with one of these. I like the results with fresh wings, haven't had much luck with frozen.
