Lamb Chops.... First Try and Tasting....

Bought all those lamb chops and thought, NYE (New Year's Eve) is a good enough venue for the tasting... Cut them up into two rib sections...



Made some ABT and Wings for the Appetizers.



Ugh blurry...



Coals are ready...



Ready to Eat... OMG these were the BOMB.... Juicy, Tender, Delish and Tasty.... Cooked to 130-135 and TENDER..... 6 more racks to go...

 
Roast some bones and use that as a base for lamb stew....Oh man now i'm really hungry....Happy New Year
 
Nice spread there, Matt. Wings and ABTs before lambchops is one heck of a shmorgisbord of flavor.
 
Looks like you had a great NYE for sure. Those lamp chops looks so yummy and the abts were right on.
 
Matthew Now that you tried BBQed lamb chops you will want them every other weekend.

Thanks Barb... I did not even come close to how they tasted... OMG... They were just so TENDER, JUICY.... Cutting them in 2 rack pieces I think is the perfect idea.
 
I've never had lamb,but Pammi is going off to a conference the end of the month. I will be getting a couple chops and trying them out!
BTW,those look really good!
 
As a fan of lamb, I say: nice job!

Did they have a buy 4 racks, get 3 free sale? :) (being typed only 'cause I'm jealous)
 
They had them on clearance, end of christmas sale. Sell by date was the 27th,,, Bought of Christmas Eve... Each rack was 4-5 bucks, and normally $25.
