Looooooong day of baseball for my son. Needed something we could eat when we got home that was pretty much ready to go!
Started with some boneless and skinless thighs in a marinade for a few hours then some Weber rub!
Warm day calls for some lighter beverages! Used Cowboy briquettes and a small amount of oak.
Went indirect for a bit then a sear. Got them to about 170. Really wasn’t too worried about temps.
Chicken cooled then went in fridge. Lightly bbq’d some asparagus. Wanted it to stay crispy but get a little flavor.
Asparagus went into the fridge, cut the cabbage and red onion and had to only slice the chicken, asparagus and some radishes after the marathon baseball games!
Washed it all down with a Raineer! Late and light dinner! Cheers!
