Kettle Pizza

Finally got to use my Kettle Pizza that my wife gave me for my birthday. Came out pretty good. Did two pizzas. My wife likes veggie pizza so I did one of those and for me I made a mushroom, sausage and olive, with an extra treat. Here goes.

Had a couple (few) of these. This is all I drink when I'm in Oregon, in pints that is. Can't find it down here so I brought a couple of six packs home with me on our last trip. Couldn't find bottles, but honestly, I don't think I could have told the difference.

Here's a pic of the Veggie on the peel before cooking. Onion, artichoke hearts, red bell pepper, mushrooms, olives. Forgot to get a pic of mine before it went on.

Getting up to temp.

First pizza on. Crummy picture, but you get the idea.

Mine out of KP. Yep, just about a whole tin of anchovies on mine for the extra treat!

The next two shots are of the bottoms of both cooked pizzas.

"Plated". My wife's pizza. I topped hers with Goat Cheese after pulling it out of the KP.

Mine.

I was really happy with these pizzas. The crusts came out great and the pizza was delicious!!! Thanks for looking.

You nailed those pizzas. Did you do them on your WSM or Kettle? I can't tell, but it looks like on your WSM?

Never had those drinks. What's the alcohol content?

It looks an aweful lot like he cooked those on a Weber Performer from the pics. That would be my guess, and yes, he definitely nailed them.

WoW! You nailed those on the first try (except for the anchovies yech). What did you use for your dough?

It didn't take you long to perfect the pies my friend and a great choice of brewery also. I'm not much of a Port fan they fill me up too quick. Next time you're in the Ashland area, let's have a pint of brew together.
