Finally warmed up to 11 degrees and no wind. First of marinated some skinless chicken thighs with this..

Then made my home made rub for Pork and Chicken...

Then I sprinkled some of my rub on the Thighs..

Then I fired up the Gas Assist Performer (man I love this grill!)

Then I placed the Thighs indirect until my SuperFast Camouflaged Thermopen read 160

Then I placed over Direct for 1 1/2 minutes per side

Then I plated everything and I have a confession to make...I went back for the exact same plate. Moist Thighs and the Weber Marinade paired great with my rub. Potato dumplings were a hit also.

Everything on that plate looks great. I had never heard of the weber marinades like that before.

Those thighs look excellent, as well as the veggies. The Weber marinade looks good, as well. Where did you get it? Grocery store, or elsewhere?

Thanks for sharing!

Roger. Great post and looks outstanding. Your second plate says it all, no apology needed I hardly ever eat just one plate of something off the pit. Two questions: Do you recommend the other flavor weber packets? Also would you mind sharing your rub recipe? I would def like to try it.

Barrett. The grocers here carry all 5-6 weber packet varieties...

Chicken and dumplings look great, Roger! Just wondering: why do you trim the corners on the Foodsaver bags?

Hey Jak, I've only used the 2 I have in the cupboard. Like them both. As far as the rub...maybe one day it will be in your inbox :)

Thanks Brian! The FoodSaver bag comes in a roll and I already purchased bulk chicken from SAMs Club and took these thighs out of the freezer a few days ago. I didn't trim anything. Just opened up and added the Marinade and Sealed again. With my FoodSaver model V3840 it just has a seal button with no vacuum. Just push the Start/Seal it will turn RED at the bottom and then stick bag in to seal only.
