Howdy folks...for several posts ready just have not had much time lately!! Was a good 4th...didn't do too much cooking but I'll show ya what little we did!
First we watched our hometown parade!

Then we ran home to get a few things together for a last minute BBQ we decided to go to"I was going to make tacos" oh well another nite..whipped up a quick tater salad and made some smoked peppers!!

The snake worked perfect...lower vent at 1/2...fired off about 4 briquettes and she ran at 220ish for hours!

Then we went over to some friends for the BBQ! Didn't get any good pics but dinner was dogs and burgers...peppers (what little there were) went fast!

Came home and chilled!

Looks like a great time and great food were had in Juneau on the 4th of July! Excellent post, Morgan!
 
weird, when I was a kid, parades were boring...
now an old fart, I love'm! ('cept Christmas parades, can't seem to sit to long in 5º temps)

Hey Morgan, what's with the costumes? Is there a local business that makes them? And the canoe, looks Cool!

Your peppers look Quite Tasty, ain't wonderin' why they didn't last long.
