So, got the call to go out with one of my best friends for some Fluke ( Summer Flounder ) he has a Maycraft Pilot 2550 name Z' Obsession. Lets go.

Rough conditions moved in with an east wind with the tide, fished the Navasink River. Bait located, Paul on the cast net, Bunker in the boat

Jeff with the first keeper 19.5", several more shorts and one more keeper (limit is 18")

Fillet's dressed and rinced in ice water with salt before being dried and put away

All ingredients lined up, the Lump Crab I have been saving for awhile, shallots some Jalapeno seeded and diced and some celery also. Fillets dressed with melted butter before stuffing

stuffed with the crab stuffing and put in a tray, dressed on top with some of the left over stuffing, butter, EVOO and some Penzeys Spanish Paprika

On the OTG with some corn roasting and some Apple Wood

So the CEO made her Crock Pot Venison Chili also today so we had a great meal, with my last year Bow Season Deer, with a nice glass of wine

You use fillets you cut off and then slice into strips Neal.

Know how to tell a Flounder from a Halibate...? You stick your finger in it's mouth to get the hook out, and if you still have a finger, it's a Flounder

We use 3-4" live ones here mainly but I'm gonna strip some big ones like you do on a rod next time out. The redfish will be hard to keep off the hook.
