I found a 18.5" WSM on our local Craigslist!!! Was listed at $135.00 so I called on it and It was available. I ran to the bank got the cash and headed out. When I called the lady said she was firm on the price. The WSM was pristine and in excellent condition, not even seasoned! Of course I wasn't going to squabble about the price. When I went to get the money she said I'm firm on the $100.00 price :D :D Okay! AS Iwas loading it up she came out with the cover, some wood chips and a BBQ book. Take it all !! So now I have a new house to live in once my wife sees that there's another smoker in the yard!

I get the same from my bride about my kettles, LOL

I give you one, maybe two cooks before you start modifying your WSM, LOL

wow that is awesome. I will admit because of the success stories I have seen on here I have been peaking on craigs list every day or two as well, but I have yet to see any great deals. I own a 22.5 WSM and have ZERO need for a 18.5, but had I seen this price I still most likely would of gone out, bought it, and then later tried to find a friend (or maybe my dad) who would want it.

Congratulations! That is a terrific deal on a GREAT smoker!

In addition to the "standard" smokes, like ribs, pulled pork, and brisket wait until you try Chris' method of "Hot and Fast Chicken". It takes chicken to the next level. My Jerk Chicken Wings done that way are DY-NO-MITE!!

Great Score! I built a mini and it was all I needed I thought until I ran across an 18.5 on CL less then a block from my home used twice and a $100. Snagged it, sure glad I did! Like Robert said when you do Chris's Hot and Fast Chicken you'll be amazed at how good it is!

I've been pushing Hot fast chicken for years! It's the only way to smoke chicken. We do several a month hot and fast on the mini-wsms. Only way to get crispy skin, and juicy moist meat!
 
Congrats sir, what an amazing deal! I'm checking Craigslist every day(for an 18.5" as well), in the hopes of running into a deal even close to that.
