In need of a Summit gas grill valve

Here is my valve
What's wrong with that one TJ? Sometimes a breakdown, cleaning, and light lubing gets them working again. Then again, you probably already tried this. As I said before, you'll likely need to find someone who has one to spare, or a donor grill. How close was that freebie you posted? Looks like that one is LP, too, so the valves should swap, plus you could grab spare knobs, side tables, etc.

Good luck......and while you're making a front panel for your firebox, want to make me one? :)

Hmmm, guess it's hard to clean/lube a missing valve! :)

Let me know if I can defray your cost for that front fire box panel by working out a side deal for a duplicate! ;)

Op test sat!

I will see about making extras when I’m done. If my plans work out there will be more than that one repair piece that you will probably want.

Well fellow Weber addicts I Couldn’t help but fire up the SPD6 last night and cook out. Even with two burners down it did great. I have parts inbound for repairs and mods so it will only get better.

Looking good already! We will be very interested in the repairs and mods you do. I would especially like to see what you come up with for repair panels.

Jon one thing to remember the panel on those versions is a bit different than the first gen ones

As long as they were redesigning the cookboxes, you would think they would have improved that steel ceramic coated panel design.

It was all about the Benjamins, stamped, porcelain coated steel is more cost effective than cast aluminum.

Than why not use the junk on the Genesis, lower the price point, increase the profit margin and make the Summit the premium product they've been charging for?
