Sorry in advance if u guys have already discussed this BUT! At Home Depot they have on clearance the Weber brand Silver B burner tubes set for $14 and they are selling the Weber Brand gourmet ss grill grates with pop out circle for $23 was $89!!!!! This is a no brainer!!!! Go get em boys!!!

Yep.....I wish I could have stopped what I was doing and get that info out to u guys yesterday but I was typing just as fast as I could for u guys to get the word out. I purchased about 20 sets of burner tubes and 7 sets of grates. They might not be everyones favorite style grate but it is a nice heavy grade ss and at 23 bucks they will work just fine on a flipperoo. We could even buy some of the cast iron pans that are designed to sit in the center grate hole and offer to the buyer for a few add on dollars. Let me know if u guys score some......cant ever have enough Silver B burner tubes!
 
any one else find this at their local HD? I have found that usually these kind of clearance sales are usually local to select stores.
 
I just picked up 4 sets. No clearance tags anywhere but knowing the SKU and having an associate scan the box confirmed the price, thank you.
 
Awesome! Nice score! its even better if they havent marked em yet but here in Va they have yellow clearance tags on them that really stick out. They also have some $7 covers but in the 4 stores I went to they were sold out everywhere so I gave up on the covers
 
Bruce did u check your local store? If your savy u could call and say your on your way.....then ask them to check the sku to see how many they have......if they have some ask them to put in the will call counter for you........let your fingers do the driving
 
Call firrrrrrrrrrrrrrst! Ya us crazy Weber freaks we will drive anywhere for a steal of a deal............report back! Once I was at my first store and had the items in the basket I just had the clerk scan the items and tell me the inventory of all the local stores......then I headed to the store with the most goods. I scored 10 sets of burner tubes at one store...score score score!!!!
 
Read this over at slickdeals.com, tried it in the past and it worked.
You can also call your local store after hours and just say "check inventory" to the automated announcement, then when asked for the internet # say "the SKU number"
Going to try it out tonight
 
I typed in the UPC code on HomeDepot.com of both products. The GBS grates came out as non available at my local store and the burner tubes would not come up at all. I did a search for Weber GBS Grates and it came up with nothing as well.

I just got back. I got 4 sets of tubes and one grate. I cleaned them out. Plus, I got my 10% discount of those already huge discounts. I paid less than $75 for 4 sets of tubes and one set of GBS grates. That is less than the normal price of just a set of the grates alone.

I would consider the 50 mile drive down to Madison tomorrow. They have two HD's there, but it is snowing now and going to get pretty bad tonight into tomorrow. Plus, I already have about 6 or 7 sets of SS rod grates and another 10 or so sets of burners for both Silver B's and 1000's.

I wonder if HD is going to discontinue selling tubes for Silver B's now. I imagine they had a tough time selling them at over $50 a set.

Dont drive unless u know they have stock and they will hold for you....snow is hitting us tomorrow
