Just sold the grill and the guy said he has a natural gas hookup so I just gave him everything to convert it back to NG. Most likely he won't actually convert it back but oh well he was an easy customer with a full price offer so I'm happy.Yah, Josh, I am sure of that. You might be able to get a good price for it on ebay.
Yep, I've seen them at Fleet Farm and also Farm & Fleet. They lean on the Q technology (heavy cast iron grate with built in burner tents) and large oval shaped single burner. Only the body is stamped steel that is porcelain coated like a kettleI did not realize that Weber made a "Compact" Traveler grill.

Never saw mention of oneYah, but did they really make a "Compact" version of the Traveler itself?
Yes they do. I think maybe some found the regular one kind of big and heavy to “travel”!Never saw mention of on

Actually from an ease and convenience standpoint the Traveler is way better IMHOThought about picking one up on the used market but the Q looks like a better design to me. I guess it depends what your needs are and what you want it for. Also on the used market I can get a nice Q for free or cheep and a nice used traveler or compact traveler is rarely under $200 in my area.
Interesting Larry. I haven't tried one out personally I just checked them out on display in the store.Actually from an ease and convenience standpoint the Traveler is way better IMHO
The Q was never really adept at "traveling" the cart was always a Rube Goldberg affair. In the Traveler Weber designed it from the frame up to be a "Traveler" not a stationary grill that is "portable"Interesting Larry.
