Looks like you are right JonI believe it is only a charcoal Happy Cooker. I believe they did also make a gas kettle, but The Happy Cooker charcoal grill did have the ability to raise and lower the cooking grate.

And I check Ebay regularly. My best finds have been from garage sales and local ads, surprisingly.
You do have that reputation for finding things!
I will always be interested in any vintage SJs, like the one in your post - or especially offset handle SJs.
I prefer "barn finds" that I can restore rather than paying collector prices, but I don't rule out anything.
