I will just leave this here

Tuesday me and the family leave for our first vacation since the fall of 2019, just before COVID. So I was having fear of missing out on patio clearing weekends in Wisconsin. Figured I’d miss out on a few rehab candidates.

Today I happened across these two. The 500 (I think?) is in fantastic shape. Lid is dirty but looks free of any dents or chips. Now, I have first hand seen why these side tables are not very desired. The lower wire rack is in great shape! The frame is awesome, too.

The cabinet silver B is also in fantastic shape. Tables are beautiful and the cabinet floor is probably among the best I’ve seen.

It’s a shame someone just sent these away for a new model Weber. However, I will gladly breathe new life into them!

Both fit perfectly into the back of the ol Weber van! Happy Sunday folks!

Have a great vacation Cody. Those grills will be waiting for you when you get back.

Thanks Bruce. We leave Tuesday. Usually Sunday mornings till noonish are my main “grill work” time slots. I promised the wife I’d take the day off from working on them and prep for vacation. However I didn’t tell her I would take the day off from acquiring them 🤣

I haven't used a Charcoal grill in years. I used my roommates Kettle several years ago and my parents Kettle and small travel grill for camping. I haven't personally owned one myself. @Jon Tofte I have been able to secure the Char-Q but we are close on price in negotiation.
I did on the other hand pick-up this Performer today for Free. I haven't decided what I'm going to do with it yet but regardless of what I do with it or whether I keep it or not i'll definitely grill some meat on it. I remember making some great Ribs on my roommates Kettle.

As far as condition the table top could use refinishing but the kettle is in great shape with no marks or chips.

I like those smoke boxes. Can’t say that I’ve seen those before. But for free that’s a hell of a haul! I still like just tossing the wood on the fire and letting the smoke roll.

I like to try different things. I'm in no hurry but real wood smoker and pellet pooper. I have tried them with friends and family but I may pick em up at some point. My Gassers aren't goin anywhere though. Can't go without my Gassers. I use them almost every day year round.

I have to imagine you’d fall in love with that performer. It’s the best of both worlds. Quicker cook start, charcoal and smoky flavors.

The table looks like you might get by with cleaning. You can repaint with a Rustoleum hammered dark gray, but if you can keep the factory finish it is made better than what you can lay down with a rattle can. Maybe just a small touch up here and there?

That's a very nice one! Hope you have fun with it and then flip for a profit to boot!

Keep us posted about the CharQ. If you get it, I hope you will like it so much it will become a keeper :smilekettle: .

Thanks Jon! I will let you know if I close the deal on the Char-Q
