I think if I was going to get one on a cart I would just get a summit s6
That seems like a fair price on this kettle. Love the green color. They clean up really well and I love cooking on them. My oldest one is a 1958 Demo kettle. This green one is tempting. Match to my green lid 1000LX

That Char-Q is tempting also

Both my 330 project flip grills are kind of back a ways in my project line up but I'll keep an eye on that blue sidewinder. I don't think it's going anywhere with the broken cook box hinge.I thought it was cookbox too. I feel like in your market, a blue with black modded 300 could be a good seller. It’s different but still has the Weber name. On top of your abilities and attention to detail, that thing could be a real beauty!
That would be worth giving a whirlAny one in E. Wisconsin interested in a Weber Smokefire? If this was closer, I might be tempted just to play around with it.

The Bullseye Deluxe like Bob has is definitely the top high heat performance pellet grill. They are perfect at taking the place of a gas grill (or even a kettle) for quick, basic cooks. They can also do low and slow bbq, but that isn't their primary focus.Recteq Bullseye looks the most appealing to me in that category. I checked out Bob's and it looked very well built. It's Performance/Capabilities is also impressive.
I haven't seen that one Jon! Very cool! The Bullseye Deluxe like Bob has is definitely the top high heat performance pellet grill. They are perfect at taking the place of a gas grill (or even a kettle) for quick, basic cooks. They can also do low and slow bbq, but that isn't their primary focus.
For a while last year, Recteq offered a special "Black Edition" of the Bullseye Deluxe that had a black porcelain body. While the stainless may sound better, it is not 304 stainless, and I think I personally would rather have porcelain. Besides, the Black Edition just looked COOLwith the addition of the trademark Recteq "bull horn" handles.

I wish they would bring it back!
That’s pretty upsetting. It’s hard to tell the depth of the pitting, but I can’t imagine that bowl is very thick. And within a few more years will probably be pin holesWhat do you know...Tom Horsman just came out with a new video about his Recteq Deluxe having rust after three years:
I don't know about heat retention, but my thought is that the inner liner on the stainless steel lids is just a heat shield put there to keep the outer lid from turning that yellow brown color due to the heat.So I’m sitting here trying to itch my Weberitis… I got to thinking about lids and heat.
Which is better at retaining heat? A lined SS lid, or a porcelain lid? My thought thinks the porcelain would reflect the heat better, but then I think the “insulated space” between the SS and inner liner would retain heat better as it’s not absorbed into the lid.
I know, it’s splitting hairs. But curious as to everyone’s thoughts here.
You're not going to do that on a porcelain lid.Lined SS lid. I can fire up my Genesis LX S240 and after 5 minutes I can put my hand on the lid.
