I will just leave this here

So I have 2 Weber Q's, one is the original, plain jane Q100, and the other is a Q200. The way I understand it, the 100 never had a cart that it could mount to, people kind of came up with their own? The Q200 works on all of the Weber portable carts, but not on the Q3000 stuff?

The q100/Baby Q is the same size as the q1200 that I have a few different carts for. It doesn't fit on the fixed 3xx-3xxx cart and the 2xx-2xxx fits on both

100's and 200's both work on the regular foldable carts. Weber made a cart similar to the Q300 cart but smaller that was designed for a Q200.

Josh, are you sure that will fit both Q2xx and Q3xx grills? I think that is made specifically for the Q3xx grills and grills are not removable from the cart. Whereas the cart I posted above is made for the Q2xx and the grills can be lifted right off the cart.

I'm pretty sure but I can double check

So do the grills just set on and off of them? Or are they hooked in somehow?

I am debating adapting one of my extra silver A carts to fit the Q100 for my daughter. I would need to source one more silver A side table to go in place of where the control panel would be.

I think you're right Bruce. I'm not finding any information that they are interchangeable. I thought for sure that I had swamped them back and forth but apparently not. Nice catch I'll have to keep that in mind.

On the newer foldable ones, they kind of lock into place. On the older style, they just set on them and there was supposed to be a strap to hold them down....those straps are alway gone or trashed however. On the Q2xx specific cart, the grills just sent into them.

I might have another of the specific Q2xx carts out back. If so, it will probably go with the CharQ that I have yet to refurb.

Are the char q's sized the same as the gas Q's? Or is there just one size for those?
The CharQ is the same size body as the Q200/2000s. I have my still in progress one on the newer cart for the 200/2000 grills:

Same CharQ on the ground before I did anything to it and a 2200 that I later gave away installed in the cart. They do not get secured but just drop in and out. That's one complaint, because you need to move the cart carefully so the Q doesnt pop out. It's easy to grab the grill handle instead of the cart one below it.

That’s a good looking grill!
