I will just leave this here

I guess that is an issue you might have to deal with when ordering "used or open box" items. At least Amazon is good about returns.
Yeah I've never had an issue ever and I will definitely order stuff again that is labeled the same. Luckily I don't have to return this time.

Definitely something to keep in mind when there is little tiny parts that someone accepting returns at Amazon wouldn't know to look for.

New old bench grinder is working great! I don't have it bolted down yet but it's so damn heavy it doesn't move on my tailgate.

These are out of my Genesis ii s345 which I already have new stainless flav bars purchased for but these cleaned up will go nicely in my Genesis ii e315. Flip win win

Some of those SS bars clean up really nice with the ol bench grinder.

I would highly recommend a pedestal mount.
I'm going to mount it on one of my benches. A pedestal Mount is just taking up more space than I'm willing to give up.

I don't have the shop space that most of you guys have.

I would love a Baldor pedestal grinder but I don't want to spend the money and I don't really need it. Even though it is a really good deal.

The old 10-in 2horsepower beast I bought for 60 bucks works pretty darn good for me.

I agree about the red. I feel the red was the iconic Weber gas grill. Glad I’ve got a few of those. I’d be interested to know if they have production numbers or a rough idea of which their most popular color is/was.

Got a closer look at my newest candidate. Looks promising. I didn’t notice how bent that panel by the tank scale is before. But I think the tank hanging and resting on that thing of metal is just bad design.

I also find it funny that Genesis B is printed on the end cap. This is my first venture with this era of the Spirit. But looks like a good candidate for a rehab!

What are you planning on doing with this Spirit after you rehab it?

Those Spirit grills are basically just a continuation of the the Genesis B only pared down a little bit. Virtually everything on that grill would be transferable to a Silver B.

My guess is that dent on the side panel is probably from ramming the grill (with tank) into something. I have never seen one bent in like that before.

Honestly they stopped innovating IMO when they turned the Genesis into a "same ol same ol". Cheaper to produce and had more commonality that could easily have production shipped overseas or wherever they chose.
Only the Summit in it's latest type is showing any real innovation.
They need to start showing something really cool that actually makes them better functioning
