I will just leave this here

Sometimes I ruminate on the possibility of there existing an un-assembled, new in box Genesis 2000 with wood slats, a bright red head and already set up for natural gas. Or maybe a green head. New in box, nearby is the idea. I sometimes wonder what exists ...
I would be ecstatic if I could find any kind of new in the box Genesis. I don't even care what color or version it would be. I'm sure there's one out there somewhere.

I can't even imagine doing anything to a new in box Genesis 2000 except for pouring POR-15 through all the frame parts, replacing all the bolts with stainless and putting no fewer than ten coats of spar polyurethane on the wood slats. That would be a dream!

not new in box, but the price is right

The lid has a bad spot 😢

Wood might be original?

And z bars are in great condition.

That's pretty much the exact grill I had described!!!! Enjoy it, boy would I like to see some pictures of that one when it's done! Bummer about the lid, but wow for the z bars and the wood, great find! And with rotisserie to boot, man sometimes I wish I lived in California.

I have another red hood, but this wood color might look better with green or even black.

The irony is I only needed the propane manifold...

There's a $650 Silver C (black hood) unused a half hour from me that has been for sale for months. I think he is testing the very upper end of that market. Maybe a wood slat redhead similarly unused would attract more attention.

Bruce's rehabs look almost new for a lot less.

That's two brand new silver c grills for sale. I don't think I could pay 600+ for one of those. I wonder how high I might go on a Genesis though?

What a shame, but also opportunity to save a few more of these classics to pass on to another generation. I personally feel that, with some parts starting to become unavailable, we are in the beginning of the waning days of these wonderful old Webers being able to be restored.

At some point I'm just going to ask DanHoo to send me good control panels and drip trays. They seem to stay a lot nicer where he lives and he just keeps tripping over these things left and right 😁

The pictured one was free, but I missed it. My 30 dollar one is very complete, no rust, wood slats need help and its a red head!
Anyone on here from Lowell, MA? He has a bunch (15) of grills on Offerup.

Grabbed some pics of the 30 dollar Gen 1000
