I will just leave this here

Yeah I think he got a "0" tucked in there as a typo :D I love the description "it's a beast" yet the photos of the insides look awfully flimsy to me.
The main grates do look very thin. Find for low and slow BBQ I suppose. A brief look at a long review suggests that the gas grilling aspect is a little underpowered.

This nice little fella jumped in my van today and is in excellent shape! I was going to give it to one of our drivers. But when I got looking at it closer, I’m not sure if I am anymore. lol

He asked me to be on the lookout for a little Weber grill. I found one but don’t want to part with it. I only see the JJ’s in black.

I have that exact thing in black. Sadly not a good "cooker" because if you try to use it with the lid on the coals go out. Weber's design of those side vents was good for carrying it around but worthless for cooking

I second that. I had one of thoose and there is virtually no heat control via the side vents...I found myself offsetting the lid more often than not. I wouldn't even give it away to somebody I knew, it was that bad. My honest opinion, Cody.

I appreciate the heads up. I’m not out anything either way!
It sure is purdy, I'll give you that! And I liked the way the lid bail clips on the lid handle for stowing and transporting, which is why I bought it back then. I've never seen any color other than black, either, so ir's a rare one, no doubt.

Reading about all the great springtime scores, I started itching for something interesting to pick up in my neck of the woods.
This turned up yesterday morning and I jumped fast enough to snag it.

$50 and a two hour round trip with a nice country drive to boot. A '99, appears all original down to the burners and spider guards. SS grates and flavorizers look good as well as the crossmember. No noticeable fade on the lid, better than my other black ones. A full quick connect tank and a cover too. I got the whole family story about how it ended up stored in multiple garages for years, pretty cool. It'll be a while before I go through this one but I'm glad it turned up!

Yep, always skeptical on those black lids. I think what you are seeing is reflection, but I would like to see another photo of the top part of the lid after it was cleaned off a bit.
