It does. 98 and 99 had that sticker on the end of the control panel. It's another way to narrow down age when that sticker is no longer legible. Here that's going to be 99% of the time.

Ok, they probably didn't have numbers in the beginning. Besides, that number is a version number and not the Weber part number.
