@Jon Tofte do you have two pieces of glass off of a 5000?
He can pick us up on the way to Jon's house.Maybe Josh’s Midwest trip is getting bumped up?![]()
That does seem to be the kind of luck Josh has finding grills, doesn't it?I expect there will be free 5000 showing up shortly in the pacific northwest with one broken glass panel.![]()
I have a few, but I have already promised some of them to Bruce who gave them to me in the first place. We are going to be reconciling things we each have for the other soon. If I have more than he needs, I would be happy to share. I would even host a "mini-meet" at my house and we can get some of the Midwest crew to come as well, do some BBQ, and trade lots of parts! I have a guest room ready!@Jon Tofte do you have two pieces of glass off of a 5000?
Yeah that would be a tricky and risky. It was just a thought. Maybe I'll come across a 5000. Actually there is one or two for sale in Arizona. I could fly back with glass in my carry on bag.I have a few, but I have already promised some of them to Bruce who gave them to me in the first place. I know that is probably not realistic, but if I have leftover glass, we could look at shipping it to you. Just a little dicey packaging them.
Excellent condition I like it!In Michigan… if that were a 3 hour round trip, I’d be going.

Nice, especially knowing it is an AZ grill. The sides and back of these are very prone to rust along with the bottom frame that holds the hinges. If you wanted one, that looks like a good choice. I know you would make it sparkle!@Jon Tofte I forgot there is this one and I think one more close to me in AZ.

I miss him too Jon. I wish I would have had an opportunity to meet up with him. I hope Barb is doing good. I would definitely help her out with anything she neededNice, especially knowing it is an AZ grill. As the late Rich Dahl used to always say, "In Arizona where rust isn't allowed!" I really miss him.
I’ve been tempted to chime in with a “You on here, bro?” whenever we share ridiculous so-called restorations like these on the forum. I’m sure we’ve called out one of own on more than one occasion. And rightfully so IMO.I'm just waiting for someone to chime in. Hey that's my grill![]()
Unbelievable.@TomRc Here's one for you it was listed at $500 for several months now $400. Fully Restored lol
