I will just leave this here

Near me, has my favorite hood and handle but I'm out of room. I wish I could find one of those handles.

@Jon Tofte do you have two pieces of glass off of a 5000?
I have a few, but I have already promised some of them to Bruce who gave them to me in the first place. We are going to be reconciling things we each have for the other soon. If I have more than he needs, I would be happy to share. I would even host a "mini-meet" at my house and we can get some of the Midwest crew to come as well, do some BBQ, and trade lots of parts! I have a guest room ready!

I know that is probably not realistic, but if I have leftover glass, we could look at shipping it to you. Just a little dicey packaging them.

Yeah that would be a tricky and risky. It was just a thought. Maybe I'll come across a 5000. Actually there is one or two for sale in Arizona. I could fly back with glass in my carry on bag.

@Jon Tofte I forgot there is this one and I think one more close to me in AZ.

Nice, especially knowing it is an AZ grill. The sides and back of these are very prone to rust along with the bottom frame that holds the hinges. If you wanted one, that looks like a good choice. I know you would make it sparkle!

As the late Rich Dahl used to always say, "In Arizona where rust isn't allowed!" I really miss him.

I miss him too Jon. I wish I would have had an opportunity to meet up with him. I hope Barb is doing good. I would definitely help her out with anything she needed

These are the ones that drive me nuts. “Restored Weber Grill” is the title. Meanwhile, it has 2 busted up casters, no lower lateral crossmember of any type, rusted up grates, and a beat up dirty lid on it. I think the only new part is the knockoff cheapo flavor bars. He couldn’t even be bothered to put the handle or thermometer on it for the listing photos.

Photos for posterity…
