I will just leave this here

So here’s something I just noticed. Maybe I’m wrong, but in the first generation of the Genesis, I thought the “white walls” were fatter? In the one Mark posted in Curb Alert, it has regular thinner white walls. Now they could be replacements, or did the fat walls only grace the Genesis 2 and up?

The wider whitewalls were used until the late ‘80s or early’90’s. I had that same Genesis 1 purchased in ‘92 and it had the narrow whitewalls

I believe the original Genesis 1's had the side condiment basket. If I see it correctly, the frame is the same width on a Genesis 1 w/ the side condiment basket as a 1000? Thus the Genesis 1 control panel is more narrow than that of the 1000?

The grill in the top picture had its wheels replaced somewhere along the line. It came with wheels like the grill in the bottom pic.

I struck out on two old Craftsman vices today. Haven't heard back from seller after agreeing yesterday to purchase and pick up today. Oh well to be expected I guess.

Used the Members Mark brand grill cleaner for the first time today. Holy smokes is that some good stuff! Putting in a little time on my gold c build today. I’ll update that thread later, but dang, that stuff is impressive!!
