I will just leave this here

Spirit with a sear burner and a side burner?! I’ve seen them with a side burner, never with a sear burner.

I don't really see a place for the three burner spirit other than to save money. The two burner spirit I can somewhat understand because of its small size.

But the newer ones with the smashed looking lids in my opinion are so ugly I wouldn't want it no matter what. I don't know why they're so ugly to me but I wouldn't take one for free.

Your area doesn’t count! 🤣 but the 3 burner sprits seem like decent grills. The stamped steel era era based grills are breeding grounds for corrosion.

I just wonder how many of the early era genesis grills would still be around had there been holes in the caster inserts.

They are quite unattractive to me as well, and just kind of flimsy too.

Personal im always impressed with how well the old Genesis grills held up. Most of the ones I come across are in exceptional shape for being 30-40 years old.

I actually don't despise the style, but the flimsy build is very disappointing. When they first came out, they offered some very nice colors including red, blue, and - my personal favorite - ivory. If I could house all the grills that catch my eye, I would take one of those ivory ones. Most believe Weber stopped offering most (maybe all) of those colors because they were going over TOO WELL, and the Spirit II line was cutting into sales of the Genesis II grills.

I wish they had offered ivory on the Genesis!!! :coolkettle:

Maybe because in this throwaway society we live in people just want something cheap to last a couple years and then when it's dirty and the bottom is rusting out of it you just throw it away and buy a new one.

I would take a ivory/white Genesis also!
